Waterloo Road Sequence

This was a re make of the Waterloo Road episode 'Scene 9'.
A group of us decided to produce a 20/30 second sequence which involved acting, filming, editing and posting.
We downloaded the script and found 'scene 9' where two teachers are talking about a substitute teacher within the school. This meant that we only needed two acting characters. We helped the two people that were in our group to learn their lines. We shortened and cut out the irrelevant dialogue so that we could fit the scene into the space of 30 seconds.

The filming of the footage included two cameras, one was handheld to add affect and the other camera was supported by a tripod so that the filming had a professional look. We used our college to add the mise en scene to look like the school atmosphere of the Waterloo Road scenes. The main camera angles that we used were similar to what the Waterloo Road series uses which were mostly two shots, over the shoulder and MCU's.

We then added the footage onto the computer and used the program Adobe Premiere to help us edit the film, this helped us to cut out any film that wasnt neccessary.

After we had finished with editing the video, I then posted our version onto my blog.
